Welcome! This web site is a selection of images that I have taken while traveling, hiking and camping through the Mid-Atlantic States. There are four galleries grouped into similar compositions and subject areas.

I've always loved nature and the outdoors: as a kid playing in the woods behind my house, weeklong trips to the beach and camping in the mountains. These days, I continue to camp, hike, and mountain bike, which provide me with many subjects for my landscape photography.

I do not have any kind of artsy philosophy when it comes to photography. Rather, I see something that I like then: Compose, focus, shoot! I'm self-taught and as a result have more of an organic, blue-collar approach to the art form rather than any esoteric cerebral view.
